loki the blue-tongued skink
he is a tranquil soul who works the day shift. he enjoys munching
on a nice worm and basking in the sun, but hardly lives up to his
namesake - loki is the norse god of mischief and trickery
[in work] |
 |
eowyn the sugar glider
the lady of the night worked the night shift, so she lived up to
her tolkien namesake. she was nocturnal and the camera is not. alas,
our dear friend left us on april 18, 2008. she is missed. |

ode
to the yellow-crowned night-heron
these curious critters fish the ditches and byways 'round these
parts. with gangly legs and striking coloring, they make for intriguing
subjects [early foray into html and photography,
so be kind] |
